PFLAG Cambridge

PFLAG Cambridge provides comprehensive peer-to-peer support, education, and advocacy services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals, their parents, families, and allies throughout southeastern Wisconsin. As a volunteer-led organization, PFLAG Cambridge delivers meaningful community programming tailored to the unique needs of small town and rural communities in the Cambridge, WI region.

The organization hosts monthly meetings addressing diverse topics including self-love and religion, intersectionality, workplace inclusion, disability pride, educational support, and advocacy strategies. PFLAG Cambridge's programming combines peer support with expert speakers who share knowledge and lived experiences. The organization actively engages in civic advocacy, submitting testimony on state legislation and mobilizing community response to protect marginalized populations. PFLAG Cambridge maintains an active social media presence, sharing voting information, mental health resources, and local LGBTQIA+ events to keep the Cambridge community informed and connected.

As part of the national PFLAG network—the first and largest organization of its kind since 1973—PFLAG Cambridge represents the values of acceptance, education, and community solidarity. The chapter demonstrated its commitment during Cambridge's inaugural Pride Storm celebration in 2023, providing information and resources to visitors from neighboring communities. Whether attending monthly meetings or engaging through digital platforms, individuals in Cambridge and surrounding areas can access the support and advocacy services essential to building inclusive communities.
