About PFLAG Jersey City

Parents, Families / Friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People — is the founding chapter of PFLAG, the nation’s foremost family-based organization committed to the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. PFLAG Jersey City was founded in 2017 by a core of concerned and dedicated parents.

Our mission is to create a better future for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth and adults through a partnership of parents, allies, and LGBT people.

PFLAG Jersey City provides services to families, schools, corporations, and the larger community in order to increase understanding and acceptance of LGBT people.
