About PFLAG Louisville

PFLAG Louisville serves the Louisville community as part of PFLAG National. PFLAG is a national non-profit organization organized in more than 440 communities in all 50 states, and represents more than 80,000 member households, donors and supporters. Chapters range in size from a few families to several hundred in regular attendance.

PFLAG is best known for local support groups, and they remain the heart of PFLAG’s work in communities. Particularly in rural states, PFLAG is often the only source of information about homosexuality and gender identity, and the only regular support for those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender or care about someone who is. As an organization that believes that change happens on the grassroots level in local communities, it is PFLAG’s top priority to support the work of local affiliates.
