PFLAG Mt. Horeb

PFLAG Mount Horeb provides comprehensive support, education, and advocacy services for members of the LGBTQ community, along with their friends, family, and allies throughout the Mount Horeb, WI area. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we deliver confidential peer support, community outreach programs, and educational initiatives designed to foster inclusion and understanding. Our monthly meetings, held on the first Monday of each month from September through May at the Mt. Horeb Public Library, offer a structured approach to support with dedicated time for both group education and individual peer support sessions. We serve as a catalyst for positive change by connecting individuals who share common experiences and values. Our services include facilitated monthly meetings featuring 40-60 minutes of educational content followed by an hour of confidential peer support, community outreach efforts to build awareness and acceptance, and advocacy work aimed at creating systemic change. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a family member, looking to educate yourself about LGBTQ issues, or wanting to become an advocate for inclusion, PFLAG Mount Horeb offers accessible membership options with low dues designed to ensure financial barriers don't prevent participation. Our board of directors meets monthly and welcomes community members to participate in governance and planning. We're committed to maintaining a stable financial base that allows us to respond effectively to community needs, fund publications and programs, and expand our collaborative partnerships with other organizations throughout the Mount Horeb community and beyond.
