About PFLAG Mt. Horeb

Our Chapter was founded in 2016. At PFLAG Mount Horeb, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2016, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our chapter upon: support each other, educate the community, advocate for inclusion.

PFLAG is a not-for-profit corporation with a 501(c)(3) status. We provide support, education, and advocacy for members of the LGBTQ community and their friends, family, and allies.

PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

Our mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ+ people and allies who support one another, and to educate ourselves and our communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value and affirm LGBTQ people.
