About PFLAG Sarasota

PFLAG Sarasota offers education, resources, and support to all parents, families, friends & allies of the LGBTQ+ community; serving Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Since 1972 PFLAG has been standing up in support of the LGBTQ community. With over 400 chapters and 200,000 members nationally, with a mission to advance equality, provide education, and offer support and advocacy to ensure a culture of acceptance and inclusion.

PFLAG's vision is to create a world where difference is celebrated, and all people are valued inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Our mission of support, education, and advocacy guides our work on this important goal.

PFLAG Sarasota is merely a way and a means to provide resources and education, share knowledge and experience, and firmly offer support to the people we love.
