About PFLAG Wesley Chapel - Pasco

PFLAG is a national organization that started in 1973 after one mother publicly supported her gay son, and has now grown into the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ family and ally organization. PFLAG has over 400 chapters working to help family, friends, and allies of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people gain an understanding of one another.

Our chapter formed in 2017 because we saw a need for a local organization dedicated to helping the families of LGBTQ+ people and expanded from there. We hold support meetings the 4th Monday of every month where families, friends, and LGBTQ+ people alike can come and share their feelings, struggles, and achievements in a safe and welcoming environment.

PFLAG Wesley Chapel/Pasco supports our local LGBTQ+ community and their family, friends, and allies through monthly support meetings, youth events, young adult meetups, and advocacy work. We strive to educate our community on LGBTQ+ issues and promote inclusion.
