PROMO is Missouri's statewide LGBTQ public policy and advocacy organization based in St. Louis, MO, dedicated to advancing equality through comprehensive legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education. Since its founding in 1986 in response to legal and political attacks on queer persons, PROMO has evolved into the leading public policy advocate for LGBTQ rights across Missouri, mobilizing thousands of supporters, business leaders, legislators, and community members annually to create meaningful change.

The organization focuses on critical issue areas affecting LGBTQ Missourians, including health and wellness, transgender justice, youth and education, and support for older LGBTQ adults.
